Do Not Drink … Play!
If you like to have a beer every so often, keep your cash out of the casino if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your purse, your billfold, and keep all money, plastic credit and cheques back at the hotel. Pack only the cash you anticipate to spend on refreshments, tips and whatever pocket change you anticipate to throw away and leave the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Not by any means. Just realistic. You might have a success following a boozy night out with your comrades and be lucky enough to catch a marathon toss at a on fire craps game. Don’t forget that story because it is as brief as it gets if you always drink and wager. The pair just don’t go well together.
Keeping your moolah back at the hotel is a little bit dramatic, but preventative actions for excessive behavior is compulsory. If you play to succeed, then do not consume alcohol and gamble. If you like to throw aside your $$$$ without a concern, then drink all the free alcohol you can handle, but do not carry charge cards and cheques to throw into the mix of going after squanderings after your drunken brain throws away every little thing!
Allow me to take this a single step more. Don’t drink alcohol and then head online to play in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a drink from the comfort of my condo, however considering that I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit at my fingertips, I can’t drink and bet.
Why? Although I do not drink a lot, once I consume alcohol, it’s clearly adequate to blur my common sense. I wager, so I don’t drink alcohol when betting. If you are a drinker, don’t wager at the same time. When mixed, both create an awful, and costly, cocktail.
